Tech Youtuber Karl Morin ran a Cinebench with Intel Core i7-8700K on a HP Omen PC. Intel’s six core and twelve threads processor scored 1230 points in the multicore test that barely beats Ryzen 5 1600. We have first cinebench scores of Intel i7 8700k screenshots taken from the live stream that’s why the quality is poor.

According to rumors, the Intel Coffee Lake CPUs will release on October 5th. It is possible that the higher end models like the Intel Core i7-8700K will be released first.

The 8700k is running at stock clocks, beats Ryzen 5 1600 (1130 points), and single-core 160 vs 196. Nowhere close to the Ryzen 7 1700 and Ryzen 7 1700x.

He also ran CPU-Z multi- and single-threaded benchmarks. CPU-Z reporting its running at stock clocks @3.7GHz

The single-core results are very close to the current generation i7-7700K, however, the multi-core results are definitely improved thanks to extra core-count. That’s all for now.
