Intel is gearing up to launch their Coffee Lake desktop processors with up-to 6 Cores, As many people have already heard that the Z370 motherboards will be using same LGA 1151 socket which was previous used on 100 & 200 series of motherboard but the Coffee Lake processors will not work on previous motherboard despite being using the same socket.

Recently, 25+ motherboards models have been listed, which are produced by ASUS,MSI and ASRock. Meanwhile the Z370 motherboards can get support for the old processors, which will allow the owners of the Intel’s Sky Lake and Kaby Lake platform to extend the upgrade to Coffee Lake in several stages but it’s not confirmed yet.

Intel’s Coffee Lake 8th Gen processors will launch in October while the exact date is not yet confirmed.
